For help with your condition, sicknotes, GP letters, advice on your recent blood test results and general advice about your symptoms such as tiredness, bleeding, pain or weakness

Home visits will only be made for patients who are housebound due to illness or disability.
Manage your prescription quickly and easily wherever you are, 24 hours a day.
Test results take a variable amount if time to arrive at the surgery
Maternity care
The midwife and doctors run antenatal clinics by appointment. The midwife makes routine home visits after the baby is born. The doctor makes a full postnatal check between 6 and 8 weeks.
Child health surveillance
We offer routine child health surveillance clinics by appointment. We will contact you at the appropriate time
Family planning/sexual health
We are happy to provide family planning advice and offer a full contraceptive service, including coil and implant fitting.
Immunisations
We think it is very important that everyone, especially children, are fully immunised against serious infections. If you think that you or your children are not fully covered please ask the doctor or nurse who are happy to advise.
Well woman clinic
Appointments are available with a female doctor to receive advice on women’s health matters including contraception and the menopause. Routine smears are undertaken by the Practice Nurse.
Diabetes clinic
Dr Rehman oversees our nurse led diabetes clinic. the service is by appointment only. We will contact you at the appropriate time.
Asthma/COPD Clinic
If you have asthma or COPD it is important to have regular reviews and we will offer you an appointment for your annual review. Please make an appointment at reception if you have not had a review in the last year.
Other chronic disease clinics
We also provide other chronic disease clinics such as coronary heart disease and hypertension. We will contact you at the appropriate time for your review. If you have not had a review within the last year please make an appointment.
Specialist and enhanced services
Minor surgery / Joint injections
The minor surgery service is provided by Dr Khan for the diagnosis and management of skin lesions that may need excision. Please note treatment CANNOT be provided for cosmetic reasons only.
Joint injections are provided for management of certain chronic joint pain. Please note that this is a specialist service and there is a waiting list.
24 hour BP / ECG
Dr Rehman oversees our nurse led diabetes clinic. the service is by appointment only. We will contact you at the appropriate time.
Spirometry
If you have asthma or COPD it is important to have regular reviews. We provide spirometry testing for our patients and for other patients if they are referred to us
Ultrasound service
We provide ultrasound investigations for our patients and for other patients who have been referred to us by their GP.
Consultant led Dermatology clinic
We provide a specialist consultant led dermatology clinic for our patients and for patients who have been referred to us via their GP
Specialist Diabetes service
We provide a specialist Diabetes clinic for our patients and for patients who have been referred to us via their GP. The clinic is overseen and provided by Dr Rehman
Anticoagulation clinic
We provide a specialist anticoagulation clinic for our patients and for patients who have been referred to us by their GP
Our nurses provide up-to-date advice on vaccinations and illness avoidance for overseas travel.
Please note: recommendations change all the time, do not assume you are covered. There may be a charge for some of these vaccines.
Other services
Non NHS Services
Many services are not covered by the NHS and a fee will be charged for providing them. A list of BMA approved fees can be viewed here and is also displayed on the surgery notice board. These services include:
- Insurance reports and medicals
- Holiday cancellation forms
- Private referral letters and claim forms
- Private sick notes
- Private prescriptions
- Certain travel vaccines
We cannot provide the following non NHS services:
- Countersignature for passport application
- Countersignature for proof of identity
- Letters to confirm attendance at GP clinic for purposes of school, university, or work absence
We have a social prescriber and benefits advisor who works with the clinic. please ask our receptionist.
NHS Health check
The NHS Health Check scheme is a national initiative whereby patients between the ages of 40 and 74 are invited to their GP practices for a series of health checks, including blood pressure and blood tests.
